06.07.1710 Free NYC Dates

As a follow-up to my post on how to date your spouse, I’m sharing ten of my favorite free dates in NYC. Resources are always limited, so I love seeking out things that Rob and I love to do together and that are free! Whether you live in New York or find yourself visiting, be sure to check out these completely free activities:

  1. Hike in the North Woods in Central Park
  2. Head to the roof deck at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the latest installation and stunning views
  3. Board the Staten Island Ferry for up-close Statue of Liberty viewings
  4. Bike ride along the Hudson River (we own bikes, but you can easily rent from many locations in the city)
  5. See Shakespeare in the Park for an outdoor theater experience in Central Park
  6. Attend a world-class musical recital at Juilliard
  7. Utilize free-admission hours at NYC’s best museums (my favorites: Cooper Hewitt, The Whitney, NY Historical Society, Museum of the City of New York)
  8. Catch a free movie in a park during the summer
  9. Walk along the Brooklyn Heights Promenade for stunning views of downtown Manhattan
  10. Browse the staff picks at an independent bookstore (my favorites: The Strand, Rizzoli, Albertine)
